Where is La Toussuire, and at what altitude?


La Toussuire is a mountain resort in Savoie, in the Maurienne Valley, situated on an open plateau with a 360° panoramic view at an altitude of 1,800 metres. Thanks to its altitude and orientation, La Toussuire enjoys both exceptional sunshine and excellent snow conditions.

How do I get to La Toussuire by car?


From the A43 motorway (Maurienne), take exit 27 towards Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, then drive up to the resort (approximately 17 km / 25 minutes from Saint-Jean).





Travelling by train: which station and which shuttle buses?


The most convenient station is Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne – Arvan (TGV at certain times of year). To reach La Toussuire without a car, the S31 bus service connects the station to La Toussuire (and Le Corbier) during the tourist season, with advance booking required (depending on the service).




Where to park in La Toussuire?


The resort prioritises sustainable transport and provides several free car parks labelled P1 to P8 (Rond-Point car park, Chapelle, Tourist Office, Market, etc.). Some holiday homes and chalets have their own private car parks.




How do you get around the resort without a car?


In winter, you can use the free internal shuttle buses, and in summer there’s the little train. The shuttle runs non-stop from 8.20 am to 7 pm every day. To leave the resort, a free shuttle connects La Toussuire ↔ Le Corbier and Les Bottières.





Skiing: which ski area and which ski passes?


La Toussuire is part of the Les Sybelles ski area, with 310 km of slopes. Various ski pass options are available: day passes, weekly passes, family or group passes, the 4-hour La Toussuire pass, beginner’s snow-front passes, Saturday special offers, ‘Carré Neige’ insurance, and more. What useful services should I arrange when making my booking?


To ensure your stay runs smoothly, remember to plan ahead and book any additional services at the same time as your holiday rental. Central Agence La Toussuire offers services at preferential rates on:

Where is my accommodation located?


We do our utmost to help you choose the right holiday accommodation, particularly by helping you pinpoint its exact location within the resort: its position in relation to the ski lifts and shops, its aspect, and so on.

On each property description page, you’ll find a ‘location’ icon showing the property’s position on a map of the resort. You’ll also find the GPS coordinates, allowing you to view the property on your own mapping app.





Is there Wi-Fi on site?

Where do I collect the keys to the property?


Check-in and key collection take place directly at one of the two Centrale Agence La Toussuire branches located in the resort of La Toussuire. One is in the Les Aiguilles residence, and the other in the Corbier residence.

When your booking is confirmed, we’ll let you know where to collect your keys, along with the exact address.





What if I arrive late in La Toussuire on the day of my arrival?


If you arrive late in La Toussuire, don’t worry! We’ll send you a message with all the information you need to access your accommodation via our key box. You don’t need to do anything: we’ll only contact you if necessary.
To ensure we can contact you if necessary, please confirm that we have your up-to-date phone number on file. This way, you can settle in with complete peace of mind, even outside the agency’s opening hours.




What time can I collect the keys? And what time do I need to check out at the end of my stay?


You can collect your keys from 4 pm on the day of your arrival and return them by 9 am on the day of your departure.





Do I need to pay before I collect the keys?


Yes, you’ll only be given the keys once your rental has been paid in full. To ensure a smooth arrival:

  • The balance must be paid one month before your arrival.
  • The security deposit is payable on the day you collect the keys.





Where do I collect the keys to the accommodation?

Do I need to pay a deposit to confirm the booking?


Yes: the booking becomes final once the deposit (25% of the rental amount) has been received and the contract has been drawn up.





When is the balance due?


The balance (and any pre-booked additional services) is due one month before arrival; if the booking is made less than one month in advance, the full amount is due at the time of booking.





Do I need to bring my own bed linen and towels?


As a general rule, bed linen and towels are not included unless specified in the property description. We offer a linen and towel hire service which you can book at the same time as your accommodation. Please feel free to make use of this service to reduce the weight of your luggage.





Is end-of-stay cleaning included?


No, this is an optional service to ensure you can leave your holiday let stress-free. The rule is that you must leave the property clean; otherwise, a fixed fee may be deducted if the cleaning has not been carried out properly. The end-of-stay cleaning fee varies depending on the size of the property, ranging from €84 to €560. It can be booked at the same time as your holiday let.





Are pets allowed in the properties?


Our holiday rental listings distinguish between “pets allowed” and “no pets allowed” properties via the search criteria. You can therefore easily filter your search depending on whether you wish to bring your pets with you on holiday to La Toussuire.





Security deposit: how does it work and when is it refunded?


The security deposit is taken upon your arrival (by credit card or cheque) to cover any damage or if the property is not left in a sufficiently clean condition.

At the end of your stay, once the property has been inspected:

  • The card authorisation is cancelled within 3 weeks (subject to any damage or failure to meet cleaning standards).
  • Cheques (if applicable) are also destroyed within 3 weeks.
  • A confirmation email will be sent to you to confirm the refund.


No paper documents are returned: everything is processed electronically for greater convenience.




What should I do if I notice a cleanliness issue or a missing item on arrival?


Any complaints must be made directly via the platform to ensure they are dealt with quickly and efficiently.

  • Damage or missing items: please report these within 24 hours via the digital inventory form (accessible via the QR code in the property). You can attach photos to support your report.
  • Inadequate cleanliness: please report this as soon as possible so that it can be dealt with immediately.
