La Toussuire ski resort in winter: a nature-filled holiday in Les Sybelles

Come and discover the Savoyard village of La Toussuire under the snow

A winter in La Toussuire means a guaranteed holiday: everything is in place for you to enjoy every moment with your children, with friends or as a couple.

Value criteria specific to ski resort property

In the mountains, value isn’t determined by floor area alone. In La Toussuire, buyers look closely at factors such as ski-in/ski-out access, ski lockers, balconies or terraces, unobstructed views, parking, lifts, the condition of the residential complex, wellness facilities, service charges and approved renovation works. A reliable valuation must take these factors into account, as well as the realities of the local market in the Maurienne region.

The history of La Toussuire: a village resort rooted in Savoie

From mountain pastures to the resort: the early days of skiing

La Toussuire is a hamlet of Fontcouverte-la-Toussuire (Maurienne, Savoie), whose name has been recorded since the 16th century. The resort began to develop in 1923 with its first official ski competition, followed by the installation of the first ski lifts over the years.

A plateau resort, offering sweeping panoramic views

Set on a vast high-altitude plateau, La Toussuire is renowned for its 360° panorama and views of the Aiguilles d’Arves – a setting that truly brings summer holidays in the mountains to life.

Les Sybelles was created in the 1990s by Gaston Maulin; the ski area comprises the ‘six beautiful’ resorts: La Toussuire, Le Corbier, Saint-Sorlin-d’Arves, Saint-Jean-d’Arves, Les Bottières and Saint-Colomban des Villards.
